Printing Club
Printing comes in a multitude of forms which can be a joy to explore, the more so in company to share experiences and ideas
Chloë Thompson, the organiser, is familiar with lino printing, including more than 1 colour, and has been experimenting with what can be done with rollers. She has some experience with silk screening.
Access to a printing press will allow for exploration of intaglio printing methods.
A portable lino printing press for relief printing and a couple of silk screen frames will also be available.
Consumables, like lino, paper and ink, will need to be brought, as well as tools like rollers.
All adults are welcome, the experienced to share and try new things, the beginners to learn in an informal context. And all to have fun.
