The 6 weeks will cover the foundations of drawing and colour by working towards understanding six basic skills: Line, Shape, Tone, Pattern/Texture, Colour and Composition.
Learn how to look in detail at a subject and harness basic drawing skills to produce a pleasing sketch. See how sketching can be an aid to memory and act as a diary, as well as a source of ideas for more extensive work.
The course is suitable for complete beginners or those with some previous art experience wishing to hone their skills and gain in confidence.
You will need to bring your own basic materials ; a list will be provided.
